The PC (2000) version tends to un-focus from the game's window resulting in input loss. This happens a lot, especially when loading new room into an elevator. Controller inputs are not an issue anymore because bmn's launcher has a patch to be able to still control Snake with your controller even when the game is unfocused. However, there's no patch for the keyboard's inputs and this can be annoying, especially for shuffling. This AutoHotkey script solves this issue. You must have AutoHotkey installed. To use the script:

Start the game

Start the "MGS PC Autofocus.ahk" script

Press F12 to enable auto focus. A green text saying "Active" will display and a sound will play.

To disable, press F12 again. A red text saying "Pause" will display and a sound will play.

When you close the game be sure to close the script.
As previously discussed and voted, a new bug that essentially stops the IGT for most of credits for all versions of Master Collection is now approved for speedruns. Simply submit as usual to the board and enjoy the free time save.
