RESOURCE PACKS/MOD RULES:
If the resource pack does not grant any advantage to the player and/or doesn't change the game considerably, it may be accepted if the moderator verifying the run finds it acceptable, but because it's a subjective matter, it is greatly encouraged to not use any. No Mods are allowed except Optifine. Additionally, the following settings must be set: No Zoom No Fast Math No Clear Water No Dynamic Lighting No Lazy Chunk Loading No Render Distance higher than the version you're playing on normally allows. Badlion client is considered a mod and is banned.
Fast Math is an option in Optifine which uses an optimized algorithm for sin and cos, which can affect movement such that certain jumps are impossible with Fast Math, as well as world generation including where strongholds generate, thus it is banned.
I have very bad sight and for me it is not uncommon for me to miss some ores completely is there any chance i can have a different texture pack or do i just have to live with it?
@AlphaRobot What you can do is go into the options.txt file and change gamma up to 5.0. Making gamma 5.0 does give a disadvantage when finding things like lava or really anything that glows. But just make sure not to go above 5.0.
@JustRelaxBro25 Although texture packs are discouraged, the pack looks so awesome and it doesnt seem to give any kind of advantage. I see no reason why it wouldn't be allowed.
