how do you do the item dupe glitch that most runners do?

Throw items on the ground Save and quit to title One world Pick items up then fairly quickly press alt+f4. Minecraft will quit Open back up your world and you have double the items you dropped Repeat

Works up to 1.8 and not on some older versions
