Around 10000 B.C. humans made the slinger to allow them to throw objects far. Around 400 B.C. humans invented the catapult allowing them to throw objects even harder. Shortly after the Trebuchet followed allowing people to throw objects even harder. In 1958 they invented the ICBM allowing people to throw objects into space. Since then the evolution of throwing things has mostly halted, until loopy invented a way to throw speedruns even harder than was imagined possible.
