As the title states, we're fielding ideas for new Freelancer categories to better cater to everyone in the community. We understand that full campaigns runs can be a significant commitment so if you have a killer idea for a new category just reply to this thread! (No guarantees that your idea will be added, all suggestions will be discussed between our mod team)

Maybe a category with no level skips? I just watched the WR for normal any% and it feels kinda odd to me that in every syndicate he skips missions, i think normal difficulty with no skips would be a good category.

A category for only 1st syndicate?

Clean slate run. You have to pick up weapons as the run goes, as if its the players first run of freelancer

I second a category for Normal Freelancer w/out level skips. No hate intended against those that like the way Any% Normal Freelancer is played but I'd be highly interested in speedrunning a "No Skips Normal Freelancer" board because I don't feel the same way about beating a campaign when I skipped so many missions if that makes sense. We just need a board with the same rules as Hardcore for Normal for those of us in between levels. Hardcore is Hardcore man lol

No loadout for Normal Freelancer. You're not allowed to bring anything and can only use items found on missions.

Perfect run (maybe limited to 1 or 2 syndicates)

I like MawaShiro's idea but for the depraved it might be nice to have a category where you have to do all the additional objectives on each map, it would definitely vary the way runners choose their map pools.

A freelancer tools only run could be cool, it would force you to not skip any missions because you would lose your gear but I like the idea of having to get closer to your targets than usual.

It might be fun to have a "Prestige" category. Start with nothing and collect all the items necessary to prestige. I started making a tool to help route for fun.
