I'm having this game problem freeze the screen but keep running in the background. This only happens when I open the game through DXWND, and only between the ryder mission (after leaving the barber shop) until half of Tagging Up Turf.

When I open the fullscren game outside DXWND this error does not occur, does anyone have any idea why?

By the way I even tried using D3D9.dll as an alternative, but the game just doesn't open with this method.

You might try putting d3d9.dll in your game folder and THEN open it with DxWnd. Worked for me.

masakovski, I tried using d3d9.dll, opening the game from both DXWND and beyond, simply crashing and doesn't even load the menu.

Have you tried playing with Expert Mode in DxWnd? Particullary, DirectX settings. Also, make sure the single-core affinity is on (Go Modify - Compat. - Set Single Core process affinity)

So I managed to solve my problem.

The first thing I tried was to reinstall everything, so I deleted the game, DXWND and redid the process (same as the KZ_FREW video) and put it back in a folder where I leave everything I use related to speedrun (same as the files before), but that didn't work, I still had the error.

So the second thing I did, which worked, was download a version of the game that was already downgraded (it was a version I used for SAMP in the past) and put it in version 1.01, besides, I put both the game and DXWND out of the folder I usually put all my speedrun-related files in, and that caused my problem to end.

I don't know exactly why, but that's how I managed to solve my problems, thanks Masakovski for trying to help me.
