Ive been practicing runs for a bit and getting confused with how fast other runs seem to go compare to mine. So I pulled up my recordings and listed runs side by side and it actually seems others character speed is just faster than mine. Was there a patch? or some exploit not listed? I'm extremely confused.

there was a patch a little bit after the release that affects the walking speed of the character. on release, the controller was faster than keyboard and mouse. the patch updated it so keyboard and mouse matched controller's speed. (and there's also the run button too. I didnt realize there was run button for a while lol)

Update: I did some testing, and moving on controller is WAY faster. Im gonna cry.

if you're able to update your game it should make it so controller and keyboard and mouse are the same faster speed

Currently its only updated on steam, i got the itch version
