I saw a 1.5 extreme speedrun world record in the glitchless category. and the run has granny moving through the planks and she breaks them. the reason why i am pointing this out is because its too big of a advantage and it removes the point of the hammer in glitchless runs.

Granny breaking the planks is a mechanism rather than a bug.The fact that DV has set up this mechanism indicates that players can use this method to break the planks.
