Few things to note about it: All dodo's disappear when you turn in the kill the dodo's quest. That's why it's routed like it is now. I've never tried the inverse, however.

I'm purposefully not getting the hourglass at the start, because the bookcase is really crammed into that space. So if you mess up, good luck finding the hourglass. So I'm just waiting until it's highlighted by accepting the quest. Doing the soda quest later though is something I should do instead. I totally didn't think about the starting barrel. I actually tried routing in 1 visit to Twistram, but the DEMONMASTERLORDOFDESTRUCTIONKILLER item doesn't spawn if you don't have the quest active, so 2 visits are needed. It does fit in with a mandatory 2 visits to the elf-city. There definitely is some truth in not getting the rest. I think this is a remnant of early routing.

The route for Wizard Ascension is changed a little bit, since there's so many stuff in the bank. Because you need to accept the quest first, I feel like ending with him is hard to do fast. So going back after the pet ant is not too bad IMO.
