New and Old Versions

Hey speedrunners!
Getaway Shootout got a major overhaul in 2023, compared to when it was released in August of 2018. The update introduced two new maps, as well as slightly slower physics. You can find some of the different links for different versions under the "Resources" tab on Speedrun.com.
When should I use the older or newer versions for speedruns?
Old Version (2018-2023)
- 3 Maps and 5 Maps speedruns (starting on Market and Train respectively)
- Kills speedruns (new version works as well here, however slower physics)
- Individual level speedruns that aren't Terminal or Plane
5 Years Anniversary Version (2023)
- 4 Maps speedruns (starting on Plane)
Newest Versions (2023-Present)
- Any Terminal, Plane, Launch Pad and Moon speedruns!
