When I first started speedrun Fractal Space PE on Dec 25th. I looked at the cycles leaderboards and thought that me getting Rank 1 was impossible (even sub 10 was unfathomable for me). And now here I am, with an 8:38 run, narrowly beaten Rank 1 by less than a second. This has certainly been a journey that I can finally end. AND I MEAN IT! DO NOT EXPECT ANOTHER RUN IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS!!!
Level 1 (1:51. 1:50 Expected Split. 1:48 Best Split) - Below average. I made a few small mistakes in the box room but somewhat made up for it in the backwards button room. Everything else was alright
Level 2 (1:34. 1:34 Expected Split. 1:32 Best Split) - That platform lever puzzle at 3:19 was soo scuffed I got no idea how I still got 1:34. Well everything else was really good. Pulled off a few IL strats for no reason
Level 3 (1:15?? 1:12 Best Split) - Timer doesn't show at the end so I don't really have an indicator as to what my ideal split is. Tried doing the IL strats for the two buttons but I hit the ceiling which probably lost all my timesave. Looking back, I genuinely forgot just how scuffed that fly up was. But I am not complaining, it's better than the death from last run
Level 4 (3:22?? 3:21 Best Split) - Start was very fast. The first set of buttons were good. The date + generator fixing was pretty below average but was passable. The glass jump trick was really tense I almost thought I would fall on the jump on the lever. Me placing the cube on the button and the second set of buttons were the only huge timelosses from this run. If you want to try and beat it, they're your windows of opportunity.
Level 5 (0:38. 0:38 Best Split) - Just for a bit of insight. Throughout all my submitted runs, never once did I get a perfect Level 5. That was until I got this run, where I finally got it. Right when I literally needed it the most. Without it, it probably would've been Rank 3 still
