The moderation rules on SRC say that if a user doesn't want their top time listed, "It is also acceptable to list a top time with the username "Anonymous" and no video linked." I've checked in with the user that doesn't want their top time listed, and they're fine with me doing this, but I'm not sure how.

The username Anonymous is taken by a user, so I can't write that as the user who did the run without it being attributed to them, which I don't want. The game I'm moderating requires a video for the run to be submitted, so I can't have no video linked.

The only idea I have is a very roundabout solution of having the username be "​Anonymous", as in Anonymous with a zero width space character in it so it isn't attributed to the already existing user, and temporarily removing the video requirement for the leaderboard so I can add the runs by the player and then re-adding the video requirement, which feels a bit stupid.

Is there a built in way to have the username be Anonymous and not a player, or the same name as a player but not attributed to that player, and is there a built in way to have no video linked when you do this? Or will I have to do this stupid roundabout solution I thought of?

Input []Anonymous, it will have an unlisted run, but the [] won't show on the leaderboard.

To have no video link, just put a single whitespace in the video field. It accepts that.

If you moderate the game, there's no input validation of checking if the video is a link. You could put text there explaining that the video is Anonymous or whatever.

What @Walgrey said is the built in way of changing a username to an unregistered player. You can also put a 2 letter country code between the square brackets and a flag will display next to their name.
