I tried submitting "Watermelon Game" (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2658820/Watermelon_Game/) as a new game and the game was rejected because: "We are not accepting endless games with arbitrary goals". Problem is that a game that is literally the exact same in its base mechanics, endlessness and goal is already on the site (Suika Game). I tried resubmitting the game explaining that

1. A mechanically identical game is ranked

2. The game is not neccesarily arbitrary, and a good majority of games on this site are "endless" and only speedrunnable becase the the categories make it so there's a goal

The game still got rejected for the exact same reason as before. My gameplay example was not viewed by the person reviewing both times. How do I get them to actually verify this or at least receive a concrete answer on why this isn't allowed but Suika is? Right now it seems like I'm talking to a bot / wall

I have a ticket on the support page from 6 months ago and still no reply 'till this day. The staff team is small, that's what I've heard from many users on this site. But 6 months without a single reply... At least your's got a reply with a rejection though.
