I'm trying to find a RPG that is fast to complete

So, I'm trying to search the site for RPGs that can be completed in a really fast time, like 30 to 40 minutes at max. Does someone have an idea about how I could find that with the search feature?

Thanks.

Given that the site doesn't track game genres, I don't see how you could do that. But if you'd like some suggestions, I know of a few rpgs that fit. Don't know that they'd be to your taste given what you've run, though.

Well, try me... Lmao

I am open to suggestions and I'd like to hear what you have to say. :)

Maybe I can challenge you with some retro games? Golden Sun (JRPG): shortest category sub 30min (very broken, but you need to learn quite some things) https://www.speedrun.com/gsun/run/zp8p92xy Moonstone A hard day's knight (ARPG): shortest category ~5-15min depending on RNG, 100% ~25min https://www.speedrun.com/moonstone_a_hard_days_knight/run/z0p5k5ey

I know of a few that haven't been mentioned above. Some are retro rpgs, which generally require heavy glitching or rng manip for the unrestricted any%, so lots of knowledge is required: Mother - Earthbound/Mother 2 may also fit, but that seems like it requires much more effort to get to that level. Phantasy Star II Phantasy Star IV (I was also going to mention Dragon Warrior, which Pear linked above.)

Others are flash/web games, which are mostly just short & sweet games: First two games of the Mardek RPG series Universal Thief King: A bullet-hell RPG - as the name suggests, this is a bullet-hell rpg. The others above are all turn based.

Edit: Come to think of it, one thing you might be able to search for is "New Game Plus" categories, such as Chrono Trigger. Though I suppose that wouldn't be limited to rpgs per se.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I might try Phantasy Star IV, at least watching a run to know if it's close to my tastes. I found out Dark Cloud 1 is another good example, WR in Any% is at 16m39s by now.
