Hello all ! I just want to know what are the features for a run to be submitted and accepted ? For example if I need to record all the game (Plague Inc: Evolved), if I can use my splits ... And I also want to know what it splits i/o and if it was mandatory.
The basics are : -Your time -A video proving it. The video needs to show the full run from the beginning to the last input or whatever is used to qualify a run as ended (depends on the game obviously). The video doesn't require to have extra fancy things, it can just be the game. However it's better to have at least a timer showing so people don't have to time the run themselves.
Some communities can decide that videos aren't required, but you shouldn't rely on that. It's always better to have a video, even more if it's a PC game because capturing some gameplay on PC is a piece of cake.
Everything related to splits is purely optional.
Addendum : Splits.io is a platform on which you can submit your splits after you completed a run, so that people can download them to compare their splits against yours.
