There is a new rule for collecting metallic signature evidence. You must either get a maximum reading on the metal detector or be a sufficient distance away from any natural sources (ex. braziers, levers, spikes). So, if you claim to get a metallic signature while pointing at one of these sources, it will not be considered a valid collection of that evidence.
For example, in LinktheZombie's 7:41 time on Cursed Sand Ruins, a metallic signature was identified while pointing at both a brazier and a lever. This would be considered invalid as per the new rule since it is likely that the metallic signature was from the lever/brazier and not the mejai.
Previous runs WILL NOT be removed based on this rule unless we collectively decide to do so, including the run used as an example. Runs that seem to get a false reading may be rejected even if it is later confirmed, so please try not to make this mistake.
