Can a PAL PS2 do something the other versions can't? Also the categories look very ugly setup that way, better to use a subcategory variable.
PAL PS2 is the quickest out of all of the consoles and can do tricks that the other consoles can't, its movement is also faster
Not really. Compare it to a board like this one -> https://www.speedrun.com/pop1 The only categories are any% and 100%. Platforms are variables, so you can still view the platform-appropriate board as desired. The categories are what you would actually call them in conversation or on a timer. It looks much cleaner and more professional.
If PAL PS2 is faster why is the only run slower? What makes it (potentially I suppose) faster?
I'm sure you can guess this is a game I'm thinking about getting into. Recently rebought it, I remember enjoying it back in the day.
Pal is very optimized, you can watch his run and compare it to WR in ntsc. Leaderboard will not be changing. It looks fine as is.
The IL board has been archived due to lack of interest. Many of the boards had fake world records or zero submissions. It was under utilized and this game lacks a proper level select making it even tougher to do IL runs. If there is a need for them to return in the future it can be done but for now
