I understand that Crazyblox absolutely butchering the fe2 speed running scene is frustrating as hell, but honestly I feel like something should be done regarding the current patch.
I'd be down to help manage current patch with a few ideas in mind:
Track records by the version: every current record before the latest physics patch would be moved to a dropdown category dedicated to that era, and every update in physics moving on if deemed major enough would warrant another dropdown category (Ex: V61 - V63) and the current category would be (Ex: V63 - Now) Also "Current Patch" would be renamed to something like "Main Game" and Legacy would be combined with this too just to clear up that clutter
I understand it's much more convenient to just play FE2 2021 but it kinda just feels wrong leaving Current Patch up there dead as hell yknow?
Any thoughts would be appreciated, I'd be very down to help set this up too!
@mina_cious we havent gotten a current patch run in over 2 months other than yours, but if you wanna be the one managing it we could discuss it
managing it would be a different story lowkey, cus i usually jump between games i play a lot, so yeah lets just chalk that idea until maybe i change my mind on that
yes why cant crazyblox also remove the horrible ahh physics too this is why I play JTOH now specially for the backjump but wallhops aint fully patched though
With the Practice Mode update in the works, the leaderboards have been updated to display all the permanent maps in maingame (sorry it took 3 years). Do note that most of these maps are CM additions, meaning that they are permanent but can be removed at any time upon the map creator's request.
