Yo, I submitted a 8:51 and you guys (CartinaCow?) changed it to 8:49. I'm not complaining but I was wondering the proper way to start / stop timer for runs moving forward.

the proper timing is sda rules which are timing starts when you gain control of the character and ends when you touch the treasure chest. hope that helps. i had to get used to it too because my timing started when i pressed start on the title screen

But yeah it's like fattycakes said timing starts when you gain control of the character and ends when you touch the treasure chest (it's btw also stated in the rules above the leaderboard, you guys should read them before submitting times to a leaderboard ;) )

I am not a big fan of SDA timing but since the best runners (namely nudua and dxtr) were using SDA timing at the time their runs were done I set SDA timing as a standard for this leaderboard.
