I love watching speedruns of my favourite games and so a few days ago I decided to have a go at running Dishonored myself and so far it's going great! I have a question about the 2nd elevator in the intro (the one to skip the fight with the assassins) however.

I have found that climbing onto one of the bushes just before you land will cancel the hard fall animation. You do get a climbing animation instead but it does seem to be shorter.

I would just like to know if this has been found to not save time, or else for someone other than myself to verify that it does. I can upload a video if I haven't been clear enough.
