With the Ultimate Decathlon community, we discovered a new trick that allows us to warp one extra room while walking through a door. We can use this to warp ONCE up, as well as an infinite amount of times to the left.
If our character is alive at the end of a room and there is an open door (which only happens in boss rooms), we can enter the door manually. Then, by pressing start once our character is in the animation of walking to the next room, press Start. Select any room you would like. If your character is walking through the North door, you will be warped one room above the one you have selected.

- Once the cutscene of a boss is triggered, we cannot use this warping glitch again. Therefore, we can use it on the following bosses:
Once on Boss 1 to go up one room An infinite amount of times on boss 2 to go left (requires to play through the boss again for a single warp. The cutscene needs to be triggered to count towards the defeated boss requirement). Once on boss 4.
Realistically, the left warp does not allow us to go to zone 5 directly, since the rooms where we could use this warp requires 45 deaths to different discs.
As this was a test run, I'm really not sure if every trick used is worth. Clearing Carnivorous three times is quite painful, and does not save that much time either.
I didn't submit any run yet, since I wanted to have your input if this should be considered as a different run than the Any% category.
Speaking for myself, I think this trick should be allowed in Any%. As far as my tests went, the best route possible with the warping glitch would be to skip zone 2, clear the boss, and play as usual through the game. Routing 45 deaths to different types of discs to warp to the final zone is almost impossible, since it would require to unlock most of the map (if not all of it).
