Hello Stormpilot, yes we know Career Mode would make for a great category. We are waiting until it is fully released because until then it still receives major changes with almost every update. Since Career Mode as a whole is gigantic we wont make a category for it until its finalized. For the challenges inside Career Mode (except that these are all also not finalized): We are currently moderating over 200 different runs and the competition and amount of runners running this game is not justifying expanding the leaderboard to include everything BeamNG.drive has to offer (400+ missions).
