This is one of my first attempts at speedrunning this on the Xbox One and Axiom Verge is the first game I have ever tried to seriously speedrun. Would you believe I hadn't even heard of Axiom Verge until it was released for the WiiU!

The addition of a built in speedrun mode helped persuade me to give it a shot though as well as watching the great submissions of other Axiom runners on this site. The WiiU version is where I did all of my practice but I don't have any means to capture it on that platform. I occupy the number one spot (as of now) on the in-game leaderboards for the WiiU version with a better time than this run(why do the other versions not have a leaderboard btw?!).

The differences between the two versions are subtle but it still took a bit to adjust to. All in all, this run could definitely use improvements but serves as a good beginning. Thanks and enjoy.
