This game is pretty brutal in its difficulty. But there is also an enormously high skill ceiling. Like typical racing games where the straight path and building up speed is the most important thing, this game also throws in essentially reverse slipstream, you get slower in your opponents wake. And also you get bounced around by water physics, which adds a whole extra dimension of routing.
