After you download the game, there are a couple steps you need to take,

for this game to run / record properly:

1. Right click on the launcher application on your desktop

2. Select "Properties"

3. Go to "Compatibility"

4. Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

5. Select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"

6. Hit Apply

If you don't do this, the blue bar on the bottom right in the game which tracks your size and color will bug out and not show it. Also, some of the blobs in the game could get stuck in place and you won't be able to absorb them. This should fix both of these issues, it did for me during testing.

As for Recording, if you want to record your runs with OBS, you have to do these steps first:

1. Open the game

2. Start a new game

3. Once in game, you should check if the blue bar shows colored splotches after absorbing

4. If it does, pause the game

5. Run OBS as an administrator

6. Run Livesplit as an administrator

And that's it! If you start OBS first, the game will be bugged. If you open the game and start OBS in the menu, it will still be bugged. You have to first open the game, start it and After that you can start OBS.
