You can learn how to initialize your data and techniques in the steam guide. In speedrun, all you have to do is remember the following two things.

1. Erase the save data -press the [Z, N, D] keys on the title screen simultaneously. If you hear an explosion, it's a success.

2. High-Speed movement -Press one or more of the [W,A,S,D] keys, the [Arrow] key, or the Gamepad Move key alternately to move fast. -If too fast, Kiritan will move faster than the camera work.
