JPN or NTSC-J: Mechanics are near-identical to NTSC-U. Features faster text and removes dramatic pauses from some text boxes. Likely the fastest version for Cornell, Reinhardt, and Henry Worst Ending.

PAL: Last release of the game. Many mechanics changes. Runs at 25fps, but character movement is compensated. Standing jumps were not compensated, resulting in them going a shorter distance and removing them as an option for some skips. Lags less due to lower frame rate. Text and menus are slower. Castle Center Skip for Carrie and Blue Lift Skip for Henry and Reinhardt are exclusive to this version. Fastest version for Carrie and Henry Best Ending/Henry All Bosses Best Ending.
