Hello friends, I've been making a comparison between the top 4 runs, and I thought I'd take the best clips out and composite them into one idealized run.

For all the splits I require that they always line up in CP.

The clips mainly consist of the (as of 2018-04-03) 1st and 2nd place holders, Prisi and Coolkid who have times of 3:31 and 3:33 respectively, though I was able to make the cut in the second room/hyper ray split by a few frames! 3rd place InfestedRiche, 3:37, makes a very strong showing in my 4-way comparison but unfortunately doesn't make the cut in the splice due to the way I chose the splits, otherwise, InfestedRiche has the fastest underground passage just before computer.

There is no sound because the top 3 runners had commentary over their runs which becomes disjointed when spliced like this. This run is 17 seconds slower than the full TAS (3:12 leaderboard, or 3:03 "RTA").

Notes about the spliced run that could be improved for potential new players: 0:20, one can get to hyper ray a little bit faster if they get the forward clip through the plant, though the technique/setup is unknown. 1:12, CP is shot at the door, it is faster if you move towards the door and back to get the CP. It is also more efficient if 2 more Hyper Ray shots are used on Computer and one kills the plant with the beam sword (leaving the user with 35 CP after picking up Flower's CP). 1:39, missed a jump. 1:48, one can jump early into the worm and damage boost through, but it is finicky. 2:28 forward clip again, method unknown. 2:45 slightly better damage boosting possible by killing the second skeleton and damage boosting off the third allows one to pass through the two faced statue, one could also use the shots. 2:49, it is faster to use Star Crystal the moment after leaving the worm so that it finishes earlier; the elevator cutscene does not play until star crystal's animation is over.
