"Solo New-Game" -categories

Hey what's up. I've been thinking about some changes to the "Solo New-Game" categories.

We should change the ruling so that it prohibits the use of any kind of 'bonus' events, e.g the current bonus EXP weekends, or any other daily/weekly bonuses and/or items, such as the daily EXP bonus. Thoughts?

We should not allow the EXP events, otherwise you could only speedrun at particular days or some runners has advantage. Or maybe a sub category for the EXP events

I am not really in-touch with Black Desert anymore so thanks for opening this thread

Yeah pretty much xD. When I first found out about the 200% buff, I thought it was character specific(as in every character gets one), but after one run it was quite clear that it isn't. Thus making it impossible to have multiple runs a day. I also take back what I said in the other post, with the 10% Buff being neglible. After investigating a bit, it turned out to have a rather large impact. (Like 4% more, on the exp indicator, per mob) Causing a huge hiatus on my end, since the 10% exp events aren't every weekend and when there is one, studying takes priority :P I'm totally fine with banning EXP bonuses.

I've only added the rule to Solo New-Game for now, but I think daily and event buffs should be banned in all categories, since they don't involve the player actually "wasting time"/doing something(in case of events) , to get the buffs. They are just there. I've also adjusted the timer ruling, by removing the part that said: "timer starts when clicking connect". It isn't really useful to have a time w/ and w/o loads just for one loading screen, so I scrapped it.

i've been looking at your latest run and responded to it.. but i get it that you don't have to do the run from the actual first start of a new character seeing you already see you lvl when you started running, while if you do it from first boot, you have the ghost teach you first and you don't see your levels till a certain point. which made me try the run blind ignoring the ghost and using the visual queue's on screen as my lvl proof. but seeing i had a exp boost running i figured it would have been useless to post anyways.

so what's the deal? we can get our character through the tutorial until you see your level and then put him back at spawn, and log out and in?

Sorry for the late reply. I made a video answering that question out of boredom.
