I want to come back to this game, but I dont like to play this one route over and over again, so I'd want to suggest new categories for Maniac Mansion:

Would be nice if we extend the Leaderboards with a new Tab labeled something like "Endings". In there are 3 (or 5 this depends) new Leaderboards for the different Endings. Weird Edsel Meteor Police Publisher

Not sure how to handle this between LabDoorMod/NoLabDoorMod. Imho we should just note in the rules, that you have to get the code for the door regardless which "Mod" you play. The run would be longer sure, but still sub 15m.

What do you think? I am open for everything, as long as there is a new cool category :D

I was aware that it is not very likely, that you have much experience with the version I am playing, but of course who knows ;) I am pretty sure Chani was kidnapped (its been a while as you can imagine, see my late response) So yes I was at the same point. I also waited a fair amount of time, but maybe not enough, this is still worth checking.

Then again, do you know for sure if its an intended game feature or a bug? If its a bug I would say 99.9% it wont work also.

thanks for the answer and already setting up a board. My Config is a A1200, but I always had some flickering in the Menu so I added some Z3-Fast MB to avoid that (if this is not okay I am fine with it.) I also activated the JIT Option. I did not read the suggestion in the full category before that, I just made this config for myself to have a good gaming experience. If we really should stick to a default A1200 its okay for myself and I will do that for future runs. So here is my "default" setup: CPU = 60020 JIt Option enabled (maybe not needed) Chipset = AGA (maybe not needed) RAM = 4MB Slow = 1MB (maybe not needed) Z3 = 2MB Emulator = WinUAE WHDLoad

I am of course open for suggestion and changes in the config so its fair for everyone. Here is one of my runs you can take a look at:

Hi fellow spice harvesters,

I started to run some missions on the Amiga and I am planning to do more in the future. I just wanted to ask where I should submit my runs, because the Leaderboard for IL- runs is lacking the option for the Amiga. Not sure if the game is the same as on DOS andit does not make any difference which version you play. I checked some DOS runs and the game looks slightly different. I am playing version 1.1_1548 (WHDLoad).

So can we add an Amiga LB or is there any reason this would not be neccessary?

I just like to know how exactly you prove that you have 1 Mio $. The game itself does not have any congratulations msg or anything else, it just continues even if you have reached the 1 Mio goal. If you have more then 999.999$ in your account it just flips back to xxx.xxx$.

I just wanted to know what happens to a run if it uses some bugs in the game to lower the current time by a couple of minutes. Would it be on the same Leaderboard or will the Leaderboard divided? Asking for a friend ;)

Hi all,

first thanks for all the great guides and tipps for running this game. Thumbs Up.

I am running Dune on the Amiga and I was trying to get the green strategy to work. I assume I did everything do achieve this but it does not work for me.

• I capture the Fortress near the Harkonnen Palace
• I build Windtraps
• Wait for 40 Units of Water and the start planting the trees
• Then I wait untilö the water tanks are empty and the plants grow to the palace If I then go to the Harkonnen Palace I always die.

So I wonder if this strategy is intended to work or is it just more like using a bug / glitch? So what am I missing here?

Btw I also cant get the Infinite Spice Bug to work on the Amiga, so I always have to keep an eye on my spiece productiopn for the greedy Emperor.
