For some unknown reason I am a modertor now, so I will instantly abuse my power to create the second LB.

We talked about that some days ago (but for MI3), I also wanted to suggest the idea to add all Monkey 1 Parts as IL runs to the LB as well. So I second that idea.

I added the category Any% (Any%). To get this to work with the current setup I also added Warlord in the Warlord-Selection-Box. So jut pick Warlord as your Warlord and then it will appear on the same LB. I assume thats want you wanted right?

speeding up the game is to my knowledge a feature in the Amiga version which can be utilized. I dont think it has something to do with the emulator speed (at least in my current settings). About splitting up the LB: Personaly I dont care! In general I have the same opinion as Darkshoxx that we should split it up when more runners appear. For now it looks fine to me.

in order to not have a big empty Leaderboard in the beginning I decided to only add a new category if I had a run in a certain amount of time finished, but we can extend it no problem.

If you like to add a new category/level to the Leaderboard please have a legit run ready for it. Exception can be made for challenge runs like 10.000 Inhabitats, certain amount of money, Church%, Cathedral etc. we will figure something out I am sure.

Wow never seen this before this sucks hard. I remember getting softlocked entering the Zoo (iirc) so there are quite some mean run killers in this game. GG for all the new findings, I guess there is still more to discover, but sub 2h should be the next logical (and reachable) goal. I have added the Discord Link to Speedy Adventures you might join there, we have a dedicated section for Adventure Soft. Its the biggest Discord in regards of Adventure Speedruns. Yes the whole PAL/NTSC topic should be disscussed for sure.

The most easiest would be to split the LB for PAL & NTSC (most common here on src) That would ensure a fair playing field for folks who play on real hardware and dont have access to PAL and NTSC. Cnverting the times would of course also be an option, we need at least a new variable (PAL/NTSC) for the LB then. I am fine with both.

Its pretty difficult to find valid and good informations about the game and some of the game mechanics are also a riddle for me. 1. Good question, according to the manual on Lemon Amiga https://www.lemonamiga.com/games/docs.php?id=514 Its mentioned in the table but not in the description above...maybe its just missing from the game I dont know.

2. What do you mean by inconsistent? Can you provie an example or a link?

3. IIRC You can i.e. shrink the population of a town or lower their defense. Its like an attack spell sort of (but not 100% sure).

4. Yes Yeomancy is army/combat strenght (very important). Uprising means that a town can rebel and you will lose it and have to reconquer it.

5. Strenght = Combat Skill (Conquer Towns/Fighting Dragons) Speed = How fast they will reach their destination Age = The older the more likly the will die Health = HP (Renegerates im they take a break in the lair) Eyesight = Can spot items/talisman from the air without landing on a tile Wisdom = Not sure atm.

6. IIRC Heating Eggs cost money, the more heat the more you have to pay.Not sure if you can overheat.

7. Uff...I remember knowing the answers to this, but I need to check my papers, I try to come back to you about that.

I am happy that you are interessted in playing this game, there is much stuff to rediscover, back then I was just happy to beat it with the informations I was able to find. The game offers so much and every round is completly different (only end-game sucks). Pretty sure my time is easy to beat, searching for the talisman is really annyoing and you can be lucky and find them right on, but the grind for his must be brutal.

Restarting on the C64 is taking long and I wanted to play instead of constantly restart the game and wait so I just kept playing loop after loop to save time.

I completed a 1 loop run on the C64. I did die once on Blues and managed to get a 3m 13s time. I captured the frame rate and the buttons pressed, however I didnt start from fresh I was just playing loop after loop until got some decent attempt. So would this be a problem to get accepted on the LB, because no gamereset is present in the video?

I am not playing an orginal version using VICE (C64 Emulator)

I finished an IL run for Sierra Nevada on the Amiga. Could it be possible to add the system to the game?' My time is 2m 53s 500ms including some minor errors. Without doing much science about the games inner working, it looks like to be as fast as the Genesis version, so imho both could still share the same LB.
