Most frustrating level in Act III? You got yourself a winner. I adopted a new strategy where my heroes pick up wagons by distracting the guards. I wait on killing the boneguard at the cave entrance because he triggers the final battle. Because of that I can place my units in the right spot to win it asap. Still room for improvement, but as I said: this level can go wrong in so many ways.
