• This happens if Aladdin's falling animation starts
• You can avoid it by pressing right or left (depending on the direction) before jumping so that you get a running jump (at 4:19)

The Escape: Avoiding the random rock

• You can avoid getting hit by this rock (at 7:08) simply by jumping early enough

Sultan's Palace: Major skip

• Everyone uses slightly different visual cues for this skip, so this just gives you a general idea of the trick.

1. Hold right the entire time.
2. Jump around when the carpet starts rising upwards.
3. Hit the parrot a bit later
4. Jump again right before hitting the wall.

• In other words, you have to learn the rhythm for the button sequence "jump-slash-jump"
• Practice this until you get it somewhat consistently. It's really finicky.

Sultan's Palace: First carpet ride / Catch the rope

• Delay jumping on the carpet slightly, this makes the carpet take a different path which allows Aladdin to reach the rope (at 9:42)

Final Boss: Boss despawn

• Jafar's snake form can fail to load if you finish the first phase too fast (tbh I don't know exactly what causes this)
• The boss takes 32 apples
