If you're wondering why I never hit the top switch on the cube, I got lucky and managed to activate it and the far switch on the cage side with the same swing at 1:27. There's a slight difference in the audio because both activation sounds are overlaid.

It's rare and doesn't save any time, because I'd just have thrown ink at the switch from one or both of the high side platforms while waiting for the central platform to rotate.
