How do you measure time in HTML5

Hey, How do you measure time in the HTML5 version of the game? When do you start the timer? When do you end it? I see the post about cofusing rules but they still don't mention how is it is supposed to be measured. There are some accepted times on the leaderboard so apparently there are some rules, but I cannot find them anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

Timing starts on the frame you click play. Timing ends when the player's sprite overlaps with the burger shop. You can time your runs using this tool: https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/

So does that mean the frame the player sprite touches the burger shop is that where the timer stops?

@ruebenandbros yes

timer starts on the first frame the main menu disappears and ends on the first frame you are contacting the burger shop sprite.
