Got them all!
Microwave yes. Everything else, unfortunately no.
This thread is very confusing. How it technically works doesn't really matter.
If you want to be safe. You bring your passport. Not your drivers licence or national ID card.
Exactly!
That's the link! It will take you to http://esa.northernsky.se/profile.php?¤¤¤¤

Once I have the list I can DM you the link for your upload. (And anyone else who doesn't have it)
Alko: I'll make sure you won't get one!
Yva: Reminder email with links will be send out during next week regarding the lanyard photos.

All information about the restreams can be found here![/center]
All restreams will be provided with a high-quality, low-delay feed with game sound only. For races, expect the game sound to come from player 1 only.
During the event, restream crews will be invited to the dedicated Discord / Slack channel for the event. This should be the fastest and most reliable way to get in contact with anyone if there's an issue.

Updated the OP to answer that question!
There's an Italian restaurant called Massimo that opened like a year ago. It's a fine dining place, so expect to pay up!
http://www.restaurangmassimo.se/
As for pizza, my favorite pick is Via Venetto. But the restaurant Jännsias is also fine (and 100 meters away from the venue). Stay away from La Strada...
Other favorite picks are:
Rose Garden ( http://rosegardenneo.se/home/vaxjo/ ) Great asian buffet style. (99-115 SEK)
Grilleriet ( http://restaurang-grilleriet.se/ ) The best burgers you will ever have. (95-129 SEK)

ESA 2016 will be open from Saturday the 23rd of July at 8am until Monday the 1st of August at noon. Click here to visit the master thread!
Volunteering this year has changed slightly from previous years. Tasks like cleaning, check-in and opening the locked front entrance during the nights will be outsourced to local sports teams. We’re only going to have volunteers for the stream and we’re looking to consolidate the teams into two sub groups, the tech crew and the interaction crew.
Discussion surrounding volunteering are currently ongoing on Discord. If you have not joined the server yet, feel free to log on and bond with your future fellow friends on the volunteer crew. Link to the server here.
The roles of the tech crew will stay the same. Responsibilities includes running XSplit, keeping track of local recordings, managing SpeedControl, setting up consoles and PCs and keeping the online schedule updated.
Tech station will have a handful of gaming stations, where tech can relax during downtimes. If there are spare PCs, two will be placed here.

The interaction crew is a related to the hosts from previous years but include a wider range of responsibilities and tasks. This the area which will receive the biggest boost and upgrades to give you the means to carry out the tasks. Responsibilities are preparing the runners and commentators before the run, updating Twitter and social media, donation reading and filtering, entertaining from the hosting station during and between runs, interviewing attendees between runs and upload the local recording to YouTube.

The interaction station will be decorated as a living room with a large comfy sofa, 6+ microphones, dedicated laptops/desktops for notes.
The feedback from last year was mainly that the shifts were too long. With enough volunteers we are confident that the shifts can be much much shorter this year, and with only one stream to run much less intense. We’re hoping shifts end up at 2-4 hours.
Volunteers who ends up taking multiple and/or long graveyard shifts will be given perks. As in complementary food and drinks. An area where you can rest if needed.
Volunteers will also be able to request shifts after the schedule is released.
For each shift we’re looking to have at least 2 tech and 3 interaction members. But there’s no hard limit.
Head of the volunteer crew will be Edenal Head of the tech crew will be ontwoplanks and oasiz Head of the interaction crew will be Maral
mrjerkyjerky: There will be 1 email sent per ticket. If you buy 2 tickets on the same email, you will get 2 emails. Hope that answers the question!
Good question! I'll get back to you on that one!
TonyOgbot: Sure, that's no problem. We've done it before!
Check out the Discord server: http://www.speedrun.com/esa2016/thread/l5jyc
Plenty of active people in the Travel-room. You should be able to find a travel group there!
Flash carts are encouraged.
Console emulators running on PC are not allowed.
We are aiming to provide common NTSC consoles for the stream during the event. Not for practice.
If you have a specific question please let us know. But generally, you can't be competitive on PAL consoles which is why no one uses PAL consoles for speedrunning. And yes, to be competitive on real hardware most speedrunners in Europe have to get a new set of consoles.
