However, the game played does not meet the Vault requirements, since it's an educational game. Specifically: this game mostly consists in doing math fast, and in fact most of the efforts showcased in this run are actually just manipulating and predicting the answers in order to solve the problems fast.

welp this is the full cycle RTA, its possible to make an EVEN FASTER cycle than this but that would be worse than 556 in terms of how incredibly hard it would be
ok this actually doesnt save any time unless in the next room you do this other movement I developed thats INSANELY fucking hard. I practiced this for 8 hours and got the full cycle single segment ONCE. it only saves maximum 3 ingame seconds. so in other words this discovery is shite
its not gonna be easy, but if youre too slow to make it, it's easy to tell, and adjust to play it safe
if you optimize your movement fast enough you can go a cycle faster than in the 27:57 and enter the door at 72 rather than 68. I have a vid of it somewhere. harder than TAS cycle 1-T NSMBDS IMO
the fact that no modifications are made to official software or hardware makes it not something I can reasonably be expected to ban. also turbo controllers are allowed if the official controller released for the game to be played on has turbo settings
i mean runners of sm64 use Gamecube and hori controllers which wouldnt have existed at the time but it is still considered legal due to the fact that youre not using any third party tool to enhance gameplay
