I mean, a hundo run can still PB and even WR with a couple of deaths, but I cant imagine a hundo run coming down to a matter of seconds

I am TASing potential skips, and while we've all seen TASers do walljumps glitches on 7-C, the walls of both world 8 towers, the walls of the ghost house elevators. I need to know whether or not mini mario can walljump glitch on any wall material (of course excluding spikes). If he cant walljump glitch on all wall surfaces, than what surfaces can he not walljump glitch on.

as long as your route doesnt lose 10-20 seconds to conventional rta strats leading up to the boss fight than this is an overall timesave, and you enter world 8 with shell.

ok so the gist of it is that you have to do a weird route to get blue shell in inventory that is likely really slow with rta strats.

i think so, but compared to the timesave of fast 8-2, it is miniscule, likely 2 - 4 seconds, and thats stretching it, because the timesave is almost exactly 10 secs, added with the 3 second timesave on 1-2 bc no blue shell pickup, but you lose a ton of time picking it up from the toad house. even though its at the beginning of the run and it doesnt require any rng, its so hard to execute that i think that a well optimized any% with fast 8-2 would be completed before anybody is even considering TAS cycle. also has anybody created a human theory any% tas? that would be extremely interesting to watch.

ive been trying to do a 1-t sub 40 IL run, and incorperate TAS cycle into my any%, but i only made the trick once, and choked immediately on the jump after. does anyone have any tips, visual cues, mental rehearsalos, ect that can make this trick more consistient? or do you just have to white knuckle the many consecutive frame perfect inputs?

wait you got tas cycle in rta? how is that even possible? im so confused also thats the any% 1-T world record if you did that. im shook my guy
