The reason we banned those stuff is because the whole point of glitchless is to avoid sequence breaks while showing off fast movement. If we allowed those things then you would be doing stuff like getting Zora mask before epona or beating Snowhead before Woodfall. So no we wouldn't allow early Ikana cause the whole point of these bans is to prevent heavy sequence breaks like early Ikana.

Everything we know about NTR at the moment: http://pastebin.com/LhaXHb4i . I have added an NTR variable to the OoT 3D leaderboards just like MM3D; as of now NTR is allowed because of the recording issue, but frowned upon because of its potential advantages.

Same reason tuner and no tuner runs are separated in TWW; extra peripheral that gives an advantage if you use it compared to not using it.

Get ESS position by slowly moving the control stick until you see link spinning then target, make sure links feet are doing that weird animation while you're targetting but you're not actually moving any distance. Hold that position, pull out a bomb, and then right before the bomb explodes untarget so that link starts spinning again; after you get hit you should start to move around at a high speed but will need to re target quickly so that you will keep moving in the same direction without losing any speed. As for the Great Bay skip, which trick are you referring to? If it's Great Bay Early the jumpslash is frame perfect so that would explain why you're having trouble with it, if you have a new 3DS or a circle pad pro you can buffer the trick follow this setup and buffer to this frame for best chance of getting the trick, Good Luck d=^P

Bingo is meant to be a fun activity and not super competitive. This wouldn't really work cause the goal of the category literally changes every time you do it and is completely random. Without a consistent end goal there's no real reason to make this a leaderboard category even if it's a misc. category.

It is possible without a circle pad pro, just very hard and not viable since buffering becomes a frame perfect trick in itself, you can order a circle pad pro for pretty cheap though :p, also it's way more slower than a minute... prolly like 3 mins+ slower compared to fastest milk bar clip, although the old no CPP route is outdated so we're looking at 2 mins, but it definitely saves over a minute

I pretty much answered all of that in this forum post http://www.speedrun.com/twwhd/thread/9bw3e you do use the gamepad because it's faster for Gyro aiming, although you don't need to use it technically since you can also do pauseless equips with the pro controller still

First runs if you actually practice and know the route should be around 5 hours and the times will be much easier to get lower than TWW, also yeah I have knowledge in every 3D Zelda Game d=^)

Bug Limit and glitchless are the same thing. Bug Limit is just what the Japanese communities call it since you literally can't properly define what a glitch is from a glitch isn't, the category is arbitrary for a reason. Take OoT for example, everytime you crouch stab it's technically a glitch since the developers didn't intend for you to store the last damage value you used and use it as a crouch stab, but you can't ban crouch stabs in a category, that's just absurd. Glitchless/Bug Limit is just the communities list of what they want banned in the category, the MM community is different from the MM3D community so we have different glitches banned.

Helmaroc skip is easier on TWWHD than original... please don't give information on something you're not sure of because it's usually false in that case. Basically this is an easier TWW speedrun if you've seen one before because of no storage tricks, just the main stuff is clipping OoB through ledge clips, roll clip, etc. to skip certain parts of the game. The hardest trick would have to be cabana deed skip, which gym (the world record holder) has a nice tutorial here . This game is much more RNG dependant to get a good time compared to TWW because of the beginning (swift sail RNG + Cyclos to Outset is a 1 in 40 chance for the best RNG, although you don't have to go for outset), but just starting out running it really doesn't matter that much what you get RNG wise. Overall, I would say TWW is the hardest 3D Zelda game to run but TWWHD is a much more chilled out version of that, not too hard just learn how to properly ledge clip/roll clip and you're good, definitely won't be too bad to start out running. I would recommend going to this page: https://www.zeldaspeedruns.com/tww/ for all knowledge on TWW tech, applying that to TWWHD and watching the WR vid for strats. We already have glitchless on the leaderboards which is bug limit, and if a bunch of people start showing interest to run "All Fairy Rewards" then it'll be added, but this is the first I've heard of this category being of interest in MM3D. Also we wouldn't want just one runner to run it (I assume you would), it would be a weird empty leaderboard for only one time with no one caring or even knowing that the category exists.

I think mugg is referring to this sorry I don't know exactly how it works, you should PM Bouncey or someone, all I know is it involves landing with the rocket nozzle right before it's about to be activated and it's kinda like storing the rocket nozzle, you can sidestep with the squirt nozzle without activating it but the moment you move off a platform into a free fall state it gets activated and gives you a height boost that's even higher than a regular rocket nozzle use

idk, most communities ban usb-loading cause of inconsistencies with load times and it's easier to cheat that way. I know the newest/best GC USB Loader, nintendont, runs insanely fast, saving is instant and load times are much faster than console. It's kind of an unfair advantage. It's also dependent on the type of USB you have, I wouldn't allow it personally :\

you buy a Japanese Wii (which I think is impossible now since old nintendo Wii servers/services are completely gone now), pretty much everyone uses homebrew

You can stream using webcam apps such as IP webcam or droidcam (the quality will be very bad though), alternatively you can use the ustream app and restream that feed on twitch. You also don't have to stream at all but can still record and upload to youtube :P
