How the rng and does the game have really hard glitches? I'm coming from hyrule Warriors shoutout! So I'm kinda nervous cause haven't ran a full Zelda game before other than hyrule. Thank you and have a good one!
I have not ran wind waker but I have watched a lot of runs. The main thing with wind waker is there are no major skips. The main glitch I have seen for the HD version is deku leaf clipping in the earth temple and skipping ganon's trials. Another thing to note is the one glitch that is hard is the helmaroc king skip. In the HD version this skip is ten times harder than it was in the original because you cannot roll on the ground once you passed the barrier in which you are not allowed to progress. That is all I know. You can probably get better help from people that run the game.
Helmaroc skip is easier on TWWHD than original... please don't give information on something you're not sure of because it's usually false in that case. Basically this is an easier TWW speedrun if you've seen one before because of no storage tricks, just the main stuff is clipping OoB through ledge clips, roll clip, etc. to skip certain parts of the game. The hardest trick would have to be cabana deed skip, which gym (the world record holder) has a nice tutorial here . This game is much more RNG dependant to get a good time compared to TWW because of the beginning (swift sail RNG + Cyclos to Outset is a 1 in 40 chance for the best RNG, although you don't have to go for outset), but just starting out running it really doesn't matter that much what you get RNG wise. Overall, I would say TWW is the hardest 3D Zelda game to run but TWWHD is a much more chilled out version of that, not too hard just learn how to properly ledge clip/roll clip and you're good, definitely won't be too bad to start out running. Hey fire you answer my question on mm 3D forum small world! U Know this game too? I just don't wanna spent 8 hours during a run I'm pretty novice when it comes to this. And if you wondering I'm still trying to get a run of mm 3D just it Kinda hard to record a 3ds.
First runs if you actually practice and know the route should be around 5 hours and the times will be much easier to get lower than TWW, also yeah I have knowledge in every 3D Zelda Game d=^)
