Megacockter quick kill bug

I had a look at some runs and couldn't see anyone using it but i was playing on hard mode and got up to the megacockter fight where you're jumping across the rooftops playing as Seth Brondle (the fly guy). I used his special, the teleport move and somehow managed to screen wrap to the bottom left of the stage and the boss just died without me doing any damage to it. Not entirely sure what happened but if anyone can explain it i'd love to hear.

If you can catch it on video it would be realy helpful, as megacopter being a long unskipable boss fight, it may lead to new strats. Will definetly try it on my side.

I tried for about an hour last night to try and reproduce it, but i'm playing on switch so i had to keep dying until i got Seth Brondle again, i managed to glitch it by flying off the screen right at the end and i just fell forever without anything else happening but thats not what happened the first time. I'm gonna keep trying but i suspect what happened is i teleported off the screen and fell down between the buildings with somehow unloaded the megacockter and killed it because i suspect you can only die if you tough the bottom part of the screen thats auto scrolling because if you get time bro at the start you can slow time and run to the left and drop down all the way to the bottom without dying until the screen snaps to the top where the megacockter is. But i've not had chance to try that theory yet.

That is very interesting. I didn't manage to reproduce the insta kill, but encountered some buggy behaviour myself. Here is the video (Youtube).

Can you describe precisely where you teleported to and if the camera was locked or free moving? What cutscenes have you triggered before?

The bottom left corner of the level is special because it is the point (0, 0), which is the default target location for triggers in the editor.

I've put a lot of time into trying to recreate it but so far no luck. It was during the part after the checkpoint where the camera locks and starts auto scrolling. It was just after the third or forth building, i jumped and thought i was going to miss the building so i used Seth Brodies special to teleport to the right towards the lower level of the building and the screen just really quickly panned down to the bottom left corner of the map and the slow motion effect kicked in as if the boss had been killed then the area complete thing popped up and went to the next stage.

Since i've been trying to reproduce it i've managed to find some other bugs although they seem to be useless. You can unlock the camera after it locks after the checkpoint by climbing back up the rope to the left of the checkpoint but you need to climb up to the point just before your character would die off screen and jump. You can then run around the stage without it auto scrolling. Also if you do that and run all the way to the end and hug the very right side of the stage where the camera stops theres a ledge you can land on with certain characters (blade seems to work every time). Also if you unlock the camera you can fall to the bottom of the stage past where you would normally die from falling.

So i've been trying all week to try and reproduce this and i've had no luck. I've managed to find other bugs that seem to have no use but i just have no idea how to reproduce this.
