@AriesFireTiger instead of shit-talking a game that has been on speedrun.com for less than a week and that no one ever forced you to run, that you voluntarily played at your own will, why don't you suggest some improvements? For example any categories we should add so categories aren't "shit" anymore?
Yes we made mistakes, and we could be more organised, but you can't expect everything perfectly organised from day 1. It's not that straightforward to moderate a game on SRC. Going from a game with no runs to the 4th most active NES speedgame was too fast of a change for us.

Well if you press L+R on controller, the D-pad goes into the middle, not pressing anything, so it should be allowed (?)

Get a sub 5 Sub 20 warpless and do speedruns of other games
im pretty sure it loses time because of the pipe entry and exit animations, though you can get 341 by taking the pipe
Those kinds of clips happen all the time on the PAL (European) version of the game, could you check if it says (E),(U),(J),(PAL),(USA),(NTSC) etc... in the name on the ROM you are playing on? If it says (PAL), (E), or (EU) then thats probably the reason why, though i dont know why these clips happen.
Also for speedrunning you should get an ntsc rom
You can switch to FCEUX (assuming it doesnt lag on your PC) - I'm pretty sure theres a LUA script somewhere for an autosplitter
