initially, yes, as it was the first time I had made it past the wall, and I was eager to explore. however, I have since done it multiple times on new files, and on a different profile, each in one session with no deaths or warps. the path doesn't seem to matter, madame broode has always loaded for me after the first moon skip. I'll keep trying to figure out what happened

okay, so I tried the t-rex trampoline skip after jumping the bridge wall and the boss still loaded?? could someone test this out and see if this particular method of bypassing the invisible bridge wall is triggering the boss setup? I have never successfully executed the water jump method, so I can't compare the two myself. I am concerned this may be an anomaly with my copy of the game or system, and I do not want to unintentionally mislead anyone

everything appears to be normal after the fight, with the exception of our first power moon. I gathered two more moons and was able to travel to tostarena without issue

somehow I managed to trigger the boss fight without collecting our first power moon, I went to see her up close for fun and the fight started.
