The weapons that have elements already attached to them are available to everyone. Yes it is behind a paywall and you must spend money on them, but it is not an exclusive item that only select consoles/players can have. Because of this, the use of these weapons IS allowed. There will be a section added to the rules to indicate this.

After reading through this thread, I would like to apologize to every one of you on behalf of all of the moderators for our (what can only be described as) silence. Some runs during the pumpkin event have been verified yes, but this should not have happened. There is absolutely a buildup of runs currently awaiting verification (39 as of writing this) and I feel terrible and responsible for this. I sometimes feel like the only person verifying runs but I know that this isn't the case. I currently work part time and I am a full time student in university so taking time to sit down and verify runs can be tough. But this is no excuse! So I would like to clear up a few things:

1. If any runs that were recorded during the Halloween event have somehow made it under the radar and have been verified, they will be removed. Regardless of whether or not pumpkins were ever picked up, they will be removed/rejected.

2. Seeing as no runs will be accepted from that time period, the answer is yes: runs are on hold currently.

Again, I want to apologize for the lack of transparency from myself and the team. If anyone has any questions I highly suggest joining the discord server, and either posting a message there or even personally DM me with any concerns you may have. On that note, I would like to thank those of you who posted in this forum and voiced your concerns. We greatly appreciate it. I hope those of you who celebrate had a wonderful Halloween, and I wish you all the best RNG in your runs to come.

I would say no, as headshots also give extra 10 points. Also it is a limited time event, as cranked was/is. It is too drastic of a change to allow runners to continue submitting. Runs posted will be on hold until further notice.

I believe that the runs you are referencing were uploaded and verified before cranked was considered a reasoning for rejection.

I've always wanted to be a part of the speedrunning community, but I never knew what game to start up with. I started running COD: Cold War Zombies and I am having a blast! Super excited to continue running, and glad to be a part of the community.
