okay so we are basically on the same page hehe. im aware there should be at least a run for the category hehe. honestly i put the request in here as more of a hope to get a response, than anything else. at the same time as i wanted to check out your views on things. you seem very reasonable thankfully :3

Hello there. i would like to request a couple of categories for this game, as any% is getting quite short and skips most of the game:

Glitchless or "no major glitches" - rules for this would need to be debated

All dungeons - simply beat all the dungeons. some areas is in a gray area on wether or not its a dungeon, so this might need discussion too.

All achievements - simply get all achievements in one run

i have tried several times to contact both mods with no answer. i have several people picking up the game now. but fair, il try to contact them again....which one is active?

I would like to request to be put as a mod for https://www.speedrun.com/shiness. currently there is no active mods for it (and i cant contact them via any other means). i have the record and have spent a ton of time glitch hunting and improving the run, so i feel qualified to mod the leaderboard :)

id like to get the opinion of everyone on the matter. whatever the result is after a week (ends sunday june 5th), is going to be what we name the categories

it has been discussed again, and the names have been changed.

1. you cant generalize it, saying "its not allowed in these games, so it shouldnt be in this"
2. the runners of the game decided on allowing it.

the reason for allowing it in the speedrun is this: it is doable on console. and it is fully done after the run has started. Any% is to do the game the fastest, with any means available, as long as its done mid run.

I understand that some games do not allow "passwords" but it has been allowed for this game. if you dont like it, run "any% no debug". the option for both are there.

i disagree with the "not allowed by the typical any% definition"

any% is usually defined as "anything goes, as long as its doable on console, and nothing is done before starting the run" more or less :P

but I renamed the category to not cause confusion :)

It will be discussed by the runners though, and then the categories will be renamed to what they decide on.
