@You4104102 I disagree because the closet skip variation only is present in 1/15 door 1 room gens, plus it only saves 5 seconds MAX. And vials don't just save three seconds because of the speed boost, but also allow for more rush risks/damage tech and consistency, which typically will give a huge advantage and save much more time than closet skip
@TheCatKing01 most top runners used to just check all droors around them for viles so that isn't a huge time save but spawn rates are the main advantage
@Zera8668 the changes you mentioned are very small, and blitz isn't different. But people are debating if it should be reset or not primarely because of vile spawns; which spawn much more often now according to some top runners. However this increase in vial spawns has proven to be inconsistent in the advantage, so it likely won't be reset.
@JakeFromSFGaming it's just going to be a category for inexperienced players to get a free world record on; we would much rather have new players actually get rewarded for getting a fast time in the base game instead of rewarded for a category that nobody plays, plus it's just useless and will be slightly difficult to enforce what counts as going back to the first summit.
@Foxedout most of the existing categories are already badges/achievements, and while we could add more of them we beleive they wouldn't be popular to run, therefore spread out the competition of mini categories more and just make the boards worse overall, that being said there is still a possibility for them to be added if they are properly listed out with videos
