United StatesHey, I am not sure if you've continued to look at what the "weird sound" was, but I don't think either of the runs should be invalidated. The sound matches perfectly with the sounds I get in my game. Could you record a video showing your audio settings and seeing if you get it too?
I put a whole day of effort into getting this WR and I don't think there was a reason to take it away, especially without any actual explanation

Tuberetu, with the help of some people on reddit, I found out the issue. It's that my monitor has a higher refresh rate. My monitor runs at 165hz, which speeds up the actual gameplay by calling more frames of the game per second. It seems like the game is calibrated for 60hz based on how fast the clock runs, but I don't think you or Smokoed are running 60hz based on your gamespeed either. I assume you are running 120hz.
120/165 = .727, which is why it looks 'normal' at 0.75 to you. Timing it at 0.75 would actually be generous to me, should be my time, ~53.3 seconds, times (165hz/120hz). 53.3*1.375 = 73.29, or 1m13.3s. Of course, I didn't actually frame time it, so that still needs to be adjusted for accuracy. But the point is, we can measure these runs at 1.0 speed then multiply by 1.375 to adjust for the increased refresh rate.
Future runs can either be frame-rate adjusted, or I'll just run them at 120hz, which is much easier.
I have verfied my game files and I can confirm that I am running version 3.1.3. The 'drip' audio you hear is part of the home screen audio landscape that includes the bird cawing in the background. It happens on my game still, I am currently listening to it. There are two different versions of the drip noise, I don't know why.
Go to your audio settings, turn music all the way down and "Sound" and "Ambient sound" all the way up then just wait in the home screen. You should hear it.
Actually, I just tested it and this is how fast the game runs on poki.com for me. I don't know what to tell you. Seems like there's a hardware/software difference that makes the game appear to run fast. I can see what you mean in the ball's original drop, it does appear faster. You should also consider that I am flicking with a really sensitive mouse to ensure max power every shot.
That's no reason to deny my run. I can try to verify for you however you'd like. Side by side of Poki and ASWC at the same time with an online clock?
None of these are altered. If you want to create another category based on website/frame rate, that might make sense. But listen to my gameplay. The music and sound effects are correct only at 1.0x speed. I played on "https://asmallworldcup.com/" to avoid ads. That also might be one of the reasons why.
As of now, there's no legitimate reason to deny my records. I have audio-verifiable runs with an accurate timer and you can see the frame-by-frame accuracy of the game engine if you slow it down all the way. There are no jumps, skips, or truncations in the gameplay from speeding up the video.
This isn’t sped up. You can check my run with a timer on it. I wonder if our games run at different rates in browser. There might be a significant difference between PC and mobile as well
I am confused about the "Biggest Win" category. Is it most goals scored or biggest goal difference?
As in, is a 10-0 (+10) win better or worse than a 15-10 (+5) win?
