The idea is very simple: finish a certain amount of tracks without pressing R or ZR, which means: no drifting, no jump boosts and no hops. You can actually still drift by simply turning the L sitck sharply, but it's much difficult. To avoid accidental ZR or R presses, disable the buttons on the Switch configurations menu.
