Netherlandsyeah, starting on selecting 1P game and ending when "Congratulations" appears seems to have been the accepted timing window since the start, so that's also what I've been using myself. Will update the rules later today to better reflect the required settings and timings.

can confirm giant ganon with attack boosts works very well, used it myself before even finding this forum post.
also, for those who don't know yet, it's useful to keep both galeem and dharkon alive as long as possible during the final fight, since every time one of them drops to the floor the other deals massive damage to them. once they're both about to die you'll want to kill dharkon first, since it has the longer death animation.
what exactly is the difference between normal categories and NG+ categories? i can't find any difference between them.
you failed to capture the story mode selection to prove you're starting on a clean save. i would've rejected it too.
sub 1 hour is absolutely possible, i'm pretty sure someone managed to do 52 minutes already (wouldn't know who or with what ability though)

Puzzle mode would be a good idea yes, but I'm not so sure about level 999. (As you've seen from my videos I play rather well and I haven't managed to get even close to it yet.)
it would be a good idea to actually add that into the description then, instead of leaving people guessing what to do.
What exactly is this made for? Right now I only see one of my SCORE runs on here for a SPEEDRUN site.
I just want to point this out for all the puzzle bobble games. None of the modes you made avaiable here have any rules. That way it's pretty hard to know how exactly you should time your run.
1: you're not the only one 2: in a few hours you won't even be first anymore :P
I've seen runs of as much as 4.6 million, and those were actually on spiral.
I noticed this level is missing, and i need it for two runs i want to post. ..well, technically they're the same run, but for both the 2 and 3 million scores.
these are the patterns i try to use right now, hope it helps other people get faster times as well.
