I know this thread's old but in my opinion,i think that if you enter upstairs' courses early in 16-31 stars,you should immediately exit the level.

it's probably a glitch or some issue of the penguin suit's movement system!
I've found this seed while i was running 70 stars nonstop (which is 15672) which might improve the sed seed wr of 120 stars. now i'm not sure if the second half of the game is that good but i found the first half to be pretty good. Version's "0.5.1"!
what about Gotta Sweep% (where you get pushed by gotta sweep) and Hug% (where you get pushed by 1st Prize)? I mean,there are categories about having contact with most of the main characters,so why not?

I think that just because one of the courses have almost the same layout in other seeds,the hack itself shouldn't necessary be reworked!

not owning an n64 means that you aren't serious about speedrunning doesn't make any sense! What if somebody didn't had the correct amount of money and he had a virtual console and wanted to speedrun sm64?
